
The Faculty of Engineering through Diponegoro University (UNDIP) has collaborated in the field of transportation with the National Center for Sustainable Transportation (NCSTT). The coordination meeting and road show which was held some time ago at a hotel in Semarang on February 1 2018, Dr. Sigit Puji Santosa explained the field of research carried out by NCSTT, namely the Collaborative Research Center (CCR). Sigit, who is called the Director of NCSTT, stated that “NCSTT has collaborated with leading educational institutions and researchers, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States and six other universities in Indonesia, including Undip.The grant funds are allocated to support research in vehicle electrification and product innovation, infrastructure development, transportation security and also for technology policy, planning, business and transit oriented development (TOD). According to Dr. Ing. Ismoyo Haryanto who is the chairman of the Diponegoro Electric Vehicle and Transportation Research Center (DEVTREC) “Undip facilitates two main laboratories in the Integrated Laboratory: Electrical Analysis and Engineering Measurement for Reliability Analysis and Robotics and Automation.
This event was supported by Jati Utomo Dwi Hatmoko, PhD Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Engineering Undip for Undip researchers to be more active in research collaborations at national and international levels in the hope of increasing the number of research publications and the quality of Undip graduation
